Dosire Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 30, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Dosire ("Dosire," "we," "us," or "our"), including the Dosire website, application, and related services.

By accessing or using Dosire, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the service.

1. About Dosire

Dosire is a document intelligence platform designed to help users organize, search, understand, and interact with their documents.

Dosire may provide features including document storage, document viewing, OCR and text extraction, search, organization, and AI-assisted document understanding.

Features may change, be added, or be removed as Dosire develops.

2. User Accounts

Some Dosire features require an account.

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information when creating an account.
  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • Keeping your account information reasonably up to date.
  • All activity that occurs through your account.

You must not use another person's account without their permission.

If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, you should contact us promptly.

3. Your Documents and Content

You retain ownership of documents, files, and other content that you upload or process through Dosire.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload, store, process, or otherwise use that content through Dosire.

You must not upload or process content that you do not have the legal right to use.

Dosire does not claim ownership of your documents merely because you use the service to process them.

4. Local-First Processing

Dosire is designed around a local-first architecture.

Where supported, document files, extracted text, embeddings, and AI processing may be handled locally on your device or within your browser.

You acknowledge that local browser storage depends on your device and browser environment. Clearing browser data, changing browsers, uninstalling software, or other actions affecting local storage may affect your ability to access locally stored information.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of important documents.

5. AI-Generated Information

Dosire may provide AI-generated summaries, answers, classifications, searches, or other information based on your documents.

AI-generated information may contain errors, omissions, or inaccurate interpretations.

Dosire's AI features are intended as assistance and should not be treated as a substitute for professional advice or independent verification.

You are responsible for verifying important information before relying on it, particularly for legal, financial, medical, academic, employment, or other significant decisions.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Dosire to:

  • Violate applicable laws or regulations.
  • Infringe another person's intellectual-property or privacy rights.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Dosire or another user's account.
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the service.
  • Distribute malicious software or harmful code through the service.
  • Abuse, overload, or attempt to circumvent reasonable technical restrictions.
  • Use the service for fraudulent or deceptive purposes.

We may take reasonable action when we believe the service is being misused or these Terms are being violated.

7. Intellectual Property

The Dosire service, including its software, interface, branding, logos, designs, and original content, is owned by Dosire or its applicable licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of Dosire's software, branding, or other proprietary materials.

You may use Dosire only as permitted by these Terms and the functionality provided by the service.

8. Third-Party Services

Dosire may rely on third-party services for certain functionality, including authentication and infrastructure.

These services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Your use of third-party services may therefore also be subject to the terms established by those providers.

9. Service Availability

We are continuously developing Dosire and may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or portions of the service.

We do not guarantee that Dosire will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or browser.

Maintenance, technical problems, security incidents, or changes to the service may temporarily affect availability.

10. Disclaimers

Dosire is provided on an "as available" and, to the extent permitted by applicable law, "as is" basis.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The service will always be available.
  • AI-generated results will always be accurate or complete.
  • Document extraction or OCR will always be error-free.
  • Search results will always identify every relevant piece of information.
  • Dosire will meet every particular user requirement.

You use Dosire at your own discretion and risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dosire and its operators will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages arising from or related to your use of the service.

This includes, where permitted by law, losses resulting from reliance on AI-generated information, loss of locally stored data, service interruptions, or inability to access the service.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

12. Account Suspension or Termination

You may stop using Dosire at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access to an account if reasonably necessary to:

  • Protect the security of the service.
  • Address misuse or abuse.
  • Enforce these Terms.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

Where appropriate, we may provide notice before taking such action.

Termination of an account does not necessarily delete information that you have stored locally on your device. You remain responsible for managing locally stored documents and maintaining backups.

13. Changes to Dosire

Dosire may change, improve, add, or remove features over time.

We may also update these Terms when necessary to reflect changes to the service, legal requirements, or our practices.

When material changes are made, we may update the "Last Updated" date and provide additional notice where appropriate.

Your continued use of Dosire after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the applicable laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts or dispute-resolution mechanisms applicable under those laws.
