Dosire Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 30, 2026

Dosire ("Dosire", "we", "us", or "our") is a local-first document intelligence platform designed to help users organize, search, understand, and interact with their documents.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how information is processed, and the choices available to you when you use the Dosire website, application, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only information reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and improve Dosire and its related services.

1.1 Account Information

When you create or access a Dosire account, we may process:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Authentication information
  • Information associated with an authentication provider when you choose to sign in using that provider

Dosire uses Supabase for authentication and account management.

If you use Google Sign-In, Google may provide Dosire with information associated with your Google account that is necessary for authentication, such as your name, email address, and profile information made available through the authentication process.

1.2 Waitlist Information

If you join the Dosire waitlist, we may collect your email address.

We use this information to:

  • Confirm your interest in Dosire
  • Notify you about product availability
  • Send relevant product or launch updates
  • Communicate important information about the service

You may request that we stop sending non-essential communications.

1.3 Documents and User Content

Dosire allows users to upload and process documents and other files.

These files may contain personal information belonging to you or other individuals.

Dosire's architecture is designed around local-first processing. Where the relevant functionality operates locally, documents and associated processing may remain on your device or within your browser environment.

This may include local processing for:

  • OCR
  • Text extraction
  • Document indexing
  • Embeddings
  • Search
  • Retrieval
  • AI-assisted document understanding

Dosire's local AI features are designed so that document contents, prompts, embeddings, and AI responses are not sent to third-party AI providers for inference.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary authority to upload and process documents through Dosire.

1.4 Technical Information

We may process limited technical information necessary to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service, which may include:

  • Browser type and version
  • Device or operating-system information
  • Authentication-related events
  • Error and diagnostic information
  • Information necessary to maintain service security and functionality

We do not intentionally use the contents of your documents as general analytics data.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We may process personal information for purposes including:

  • Creating and maintaining user accounts
  • Authenticating users
  • Providing Dosire's features
  • Providing waitlist communications
  • Responding to support or privacy requests
  • Maintaining and improving reliability and functionality
  • Detecting and addressing security issues, fraud, abuse, or misuse
  • Complying with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell personal information.

We do not use document contents for advertising.

We do not use your documents to train a general-purpose external AI model.

3. Local-First Document Processing

A core principle of Dosire is reducing unnecessary transmission of user documents.

Where supported by the application, document files and associated processing are performed locally on the user's device or within the user's browser.

This may include:

  • File processing
  • OCR
  • Text extraction
  • Embedding generation
  • Document indexing
  • Retrieval
  • AI inference

Because these operations can occur locally, document contents may not need to leave the user's device for those features to operate.

However, local-first architecture does not mean that all information associated with Dosire is always processed locally. Authentication and other services may involve third-party infrastructure as described in this Privacy Policy.

4. Local Browser Storage

Dosire may use browser technologies including:

  • IndexedDB
  • Local browser storage
  • Origin Private File System (OPFS), where supported

These technologies may store information necessary for Dosire's local functionality, including:

  • Document files
  • Document metadata
  • Extracted text
  • Document chunks
  • Local embeddings
  • Organization information
  • Other application data required for local operation

Information stored locally may remain on your device until you delete it or the relevant browser storage is removed.

Clearing browser data, changing browsers or devices, or otherwise removing local storage may affect your ability to access locally stored Dosire information.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of important documents.

5. AI Features

Dosire provides AI-assisted functionality that may generate:

  • Answers
  • Summaries
  • Document explanations
  • Search results
  • Comparisons
  • Other document-related information

AI-generated information may be inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrectly interpret information contained in a document.

You should independently verify important information before relying on an AI-generated result, particularly for legal, financial, medical, academic, employment, or other significant decisions.

Dosire's local AI architecture is designed to perform supported AI inference locally rather than transmitting document contents to an external AI inference provider.

6. Third-Party Services

Dosire may use third-party services necessary to provide specific functionality.

Supabase
Dosire uses Supabase for authentication and account-related services.

Supabase may process information necessary to authenticate and maintain your account.

Google
If you choose Google Sign-In, Google processes information according to Google's applicable policies and your Google Account settings.

Dosire does not control how Google processes information within Google's own systems.

We may use additional third-party services as Dosire develops. Where a third party processes personal information on our behalf, we will take reasonable steps to use appropriate contractual, technical, and organizational measures consistent with applicable requirements.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary:

  • To provide authentication or other services through service providers
  • To protect the security of Dosire
  • To investigate suspected misuse, fraud, or security incidents
  • To comply with applicable law, legal processes, or lawful governmental requests
  • To protect the rights, safety, or property of Dosire, our users, or others
  • In connection with a business transaction or restructuring, subject to applicable law

We do not provide document contents to third-party AI providers for AI inference through Dosire's local AI features.

8. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide the requested service, to comply with applicable legal obligations, to resolve disputes, or to protect the service.

Locally stored documents
Documents and related information stored locally through Dosire generally remain on your device until you delete them or the relevant browser storage is removed.

Account information
Account-related information may be retained while your account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward where necessary for security, legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate purposes.

Waitlist information
Waitlist email addresses may be retained while necessary to provide launch and product communications or until you request deletion or unsubscribe from communications.

Where information is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected and there is no applicable legal reason to retain it, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information.

These may include the ability to:

  • Request information about personal data being processed
  • Request correction or updating of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of personal information where applicable
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Request assistance with exercising applicable privacy rights
  • Raise a grievance regarding the processing of personal information
  • Unsubscribe from non-essential communications

The DPDP Act provides rights to Data Principals including access to information, correction/update, erasure in applicable circumstances, grievance redressal, and withdrawal of consent. (MeitY)

You can contact us using the details in the Contact and Privacy Requests section below.

For information stored locally in Dosire, you may also be able to delete the information directly through the application or your browser.

10. Consent

Where consent is required for processing under applicable law, Dosire will seek consent in an appropriate manner and for specified purposes.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent subject to applicable law and any consequences of doing so.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.

We aim to provide clear information about the categories of information being processed and the purposes for which it is used.

The DPDP framework requires notices to provide clear information about the personal data being processed and the specified purposes of processing. (MeitY)

11. Children's Privacy

Dosire is not intentionally designed to collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization.

If Dosire processes personal data belonging to a child, applicable requirements concerning parental or guardian consent and children's data will apply when those provisions are in force and applicable to the processing.

We do not intentionally use children's personal data for targeted advertising or behavioral monitoring.

The DPDP Act contains specific requirements concerning children's personal data, including verifiable parental consent and restrictions on certain forms of processing. (MeitY)

12. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information processed through Dosire.

Dosire's local-first architecture is designed to reduce unnecessary transmission of document contents.

However, no electronic storage system, software application, or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, browser, passwords, and account credentials.

13. Privacy Requests and Grievances

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, want to exercise an applicable privacy right, want to request deletion of information, or wish to raise a privacy-related grievance, you may contact us at:

Dosire
Website: https://dosire.in/
Email: dosire.ai@gmail.com

We will review and respond to privacy requests in accordance with applicable law.

As Dosire grows and applicable legal requirements take effect, we may designate an appropriate person or role to handle privacy and grievance requests and publish the relevant contact information.

The DPDP Act provides for publication of business contact information for a person able to respond to questions about processing and requires an effective grievance-redress mechanism. (MeitY)

14. International Processing

Some third-party services used by Dosire may process information in locations outside India.

Where personal information is processed through third-party services, such processing will be subject to applicable law and the relevant provider's contractual and privacy safeguards.

We will take reasonable steps to ensure that applicable requirements concerning transfers or disclosures of personal information are addressed.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Dosire develops, our processing practices change, or legal requirements change.

When we make material changes, we may update the Last Updated date and provide additional notice where appropriate.

You should periodically review this page for the latest version.
